 1. Releasing the old top on Jerry Stilkind's "owned since new" 1968 MGB. |
 2. Drape new top over the old to ensure it will fit. |
 3. Remove old frame (stow away type shown here). |
 4. Fit refurbished, late-style, folding frame. |
 5. Install frame machine screws. |
 6. Clip rear of new top (with the ever useful, zip-out backlight). |
 7. Pull top forward and mark center with chalk. |
 8. Prepare to glue top to cant rail. |
 9. Carefully glue top--mind the center line and tension. |
 10. Finish up by pop riveting the draft excluder channel, final trimming, and fitting the snaps to align with the windscreen frame. Finally, stow your perfectly fitted top so no one can see it and drive! |
